For those of you who don't want the full service and are well versed in Unix system admin, we supply some useful tools to help manage your devices.

These are provided without warranty of any sort, and should only be used by a knowledgeable sysadmin who knows how they will interact with his/her current systems. This software can be dangerous in the wrong hands. Unfortunately none of our downloads are for Windows computers. This is because we use some proprietary algorithms in our Windows software that we cannot release.

Zeros

This file contains a TerraByte of zeros, taken from the /dev/zero of a machine that is regularly maintained. They are compressed for your convenience.

To use:

	$ gunzip -c zeros.gz.gz.gz | gunzip | gunzip > /dev/zero

This will top up your /dev/zero by one TerraByte. It will however not do anything to your /dev/null. It is compressed multiple times to reduce your download time and so save you money.

Download (55kbyte) - Unix systems only.

Please note - in Netscape you will need to shift-click on the link to correctly download our zeros.

Beable

This is a Linux (sorry, Solaris version not available at present) kernel module to provide a /dev/one. This will lead to greater harmony in the force, as we can now sort /dev/null into ones and zeros without having to send the ones to a recycling centre.

Current support is only for 2.0 based kernels for stability reasons. We are working on 2.2 and 2.4 kernel support, depending on demand.

Source Download (4kbyte) - Please note that we are unable to supply a binary module due to the fact that every kernel is different.
